We believe that life change happens best in small group settings with a foundation in discipleship, which naturally enables and trains people to make disciples within their families, neighborhoods, city, and world.
At the heart of our community is a network of covenant groups, in which face-to-face friendships, encouragement and mutual ministry develop. These groups are led by members and meet in homes throughout Arlington, Mansfield, Burleson, and Grand Prairie. Purposeful community provides fertile space for the Gospel to reshape our lives.
We encourage covenant groups for the following reasons:
Covenant Groups are small communities of six to twelve people meeting in homes. All groups are led by trained leaders from the congregation who receive continued oversight and support. These groups are geographical rather than affinity based, allowing a diversity of people to emerge in each group so that we might benefit from varied experiences.
Each group expects to weave people together in Christ, enabling lives to be transformed by the Gospel through mutual ministry. People should see regular changes in their life as they draw closer to Christ and are remade in his image. Belonging to a Covenant Group is a primary way we encourage one another to take one step closer to Jesus.
