Grace Covenant Church's outreach ministries are local, national, and international. They are focused on relationships that have been formed over the years. Our missionaries include young adults who grew up in GCC as well as former members who now serve in different capacities and with various ministries worldwide.
Our current outreach ministries include:
International:
Africa Water Wells This ministry of Grace Covenant Church was founded by Bud and Sandy Mulcahy to bring clean water to the people in Kenya. As of September, 2021, AWW has drilled eight wells, trained villagers to maintain sustainability of wells, built a medical/rehab center, held a free medical clinic, constructed rain catch systems on schools, constructed latrine system for a church, donated refurbished laptops and tablets to local schools, furnished small wifi's, training teachers in RACHEL, an educational program for schools, sponsored women's empowerment conferences, held conferences for local pastors, provided 2 village training conferences for using buckets with filters, giving millions of gallons of clean water to families, and trained villagers in soap making. One village built a Christian school honoring Bud. A ninth well is scheduled for October. Learn More Give
Chris & Trisha Huddleston Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ) - We love college students. We love their passion and possibilities. It is our great joy to equip others to serve the Lord so that college students around the world have an opportunity to know Jesus at this critical time in their lives. Christine and Armstrong Ochieng PAIS - After training in Arlington with Pais and GCC, they now lead the Pais/Kenya team. Learn More Give
Clyde Hodson PrayerMentor - There is an unprecedented harvest throughout the globe. Prayer is the one common factor in this growth. PrayerMentor empowers Christian leaders to pray for the harvest throughout the world and is engaged in the harvest locally with international students at UTA through the ministry of International Students Inc. Go International With projects around the world, GCC supports development, disaster and clean water projects and children in crisis. Learn More
Greg Eck Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ) – Greg works with international students at the University of Washington. Learn More Give
Kara Hodson Operation Mobilization – Kara is in Zambia working with OM Zambia’s Community School Ministry. Learn More Give
Matt and Christy Taylor Wycliffe Bible Translators – The Taylors are creating a Bible translation for the Nukna people in the New Guinea jungle. Learn More Give
Scott & Polly Rempel Wycliffe Bible Translators - Scott oversees Wycliffe’s application and assignment department and provides HR services for their work in SE Asia. Scott and Polly, former GCC members, have been with Wycliffe for over 30 years. Learn More Give
Local and National:
Arlington Life Shelter The GCC food team provides a home cooked meal the first Wednesday of each month and donates to a “wish list.” For volunteer opportunities call Patsy Miller. Learn More Give
Caleb Micah Ministries This ministry, led by Josh Proctor, has as its vision to help men, students, and families find freedom from idolatry (specifically pornography) through the truth of the Gospel. For more information, please visit www.calebmicah.org. Give
Tammy Chan - CIRCLE Ministries identifies the unsheltered homeless in Grand Prairie and Arlington and provides services to help them exit homelessness. Tammy is a member of GCC. Give
Mission Arlington/Mission Metroplex provides many services (health care, Bible studies, youth programs, Holiday events, sports, transportation), all pointing people to Christ. Learn More Give
Shepherd’s Staff Joan Dingwerth, member of Grace Covenant Church, is executive director of this Christian conference and retreat center in Rexford, Kansas which serves the small churches of rural Mid-West. GCC has participated in work projects there. Learn More Give
