Our Story

In June 1988, a group of believers came together to organize the congregation known as Grace Covenant Church. With emphases on personal faith in Jesus Christ and the authoritative place of the Bible in their lives, they desired to create a forum where these emphases could be freely and faithfully taught to their children and to their friends and associates.

Their first formal worship service was in a shopping center storefront. Tom Halford was called as pastor. During the next six months the constitution was written and approved, and the first elders were selected.

In 1993, Pastor Tom was called to a discipling ministry to persons in training for career ministry.

In late 1993, Mark Killam became the second pastor of Grace Covenant Church, continuing the strong emphasis on biblical preaching and teaching. We moved to our current location in 1998.

When Pastor Mark retired in 2006, Jason Freeman accepted the invitation to become the pastor of Grace Covenant Church. In 2017, Pastor Jason accepted the call to serve Bergen Park Church in Evergreen, Colorado.

In June 2018, Beau Sullivan became our new lead pastor. Pastor Beau continues to bless us with his Gospel-centered, expository preaching and teaching as he points people to Jesus Christ.

Currently, our congregation consists of approximately 200 adults, youth, and children. Our adult population is multi-generational. The majority of our congregation is married and has been following Jesus for over 15 years. Half of all adults serve in at least one area of church ministry.

Church members and attenders deeply value biblically based and Gospel-centered teaching, preaching, and doctrine, as well as the warmth of community and the friendly fellowship of believers who truly care for one another. We are diverse in both age and professions. We welcome people from all ethnicities and backgrounds.
